Shelly Kwiatkouski
Shelly Kwiatkouski is the founder, studio owner, and director of Horizon House Yoga, where she has spent over two decades cultivating a living space for growth, healing, and self-inquiry. Her work is rooted in the belief that yoga is not simply something we practice, but something we live an ongoing return to presence, truth, and inner alignment.
As a teacher, Shelly blends depth and accessibility, weaving together yoga philosophy, anatomy, meditation, and the Yoga Sutras with a grounded understanding of the human experience. Her approach is both practical and expansive, meeting students where they are while gently guiding them toward greater awareness of who they are becoming.
As a studio owner and director, Shelly is a visionary who has built more than a yoga studio she has created a community space where transformation is possible. Her leadership is intuitive, independent, and deeply rooted in authenticity. She values exploration, honest inquiry, and the courage it takes to evolve, both on and off the mat.
Shelly’s presence as a teacher is shaped by decades of study in yoga, spiritual development, and consciousness through the Berkeley Psychic Institute, where she trained in clairvoyance, healing, and intuitive awareness. This foundation informs her ability to hold space with clarity, depth, and compassion, while encouraging students to trust their own inner knowing.
At the heart of her work is a simple but profound invitation: to remember that everything needed for growth already exists within. Through Horizon House Yoga, Shelly continues to guide others toward that remembrance one breath, one practice, one moment at a time.
